He has been working in the national and international ICT market for Innovation, Business Digitalization, and service decentralization for the last 15 years and place a footprint in more than 10 countries like USA, Thailand, Singapore, Japan etc.

Life Events

He spent his childhood in Sreepur upazila under Gazipur District. He has earned his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from London Metropolitan University and completed Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from a renowned university in Bangladesh. Before starting Pridesys, he worked as Software Engineer, System Analyst, CTO with the National and International Software Companies. After gaining some years of experience, he realized to do something with the Bangladeshi young Talented Engineer, and thus the secure, scalable, and international standard ERP product development has been started under the name of Pridesys IT Limited.

Journey Towards Leadership

His journey toward leadership began when he had the foresight to predict that the world to come would be dependent on information technology in the past couple of years. He had realized at that time that the Readymade Garments Industry in Bangladesh needs to support Business process Digitization in order to compete in the global market. He has taken an initiative to build up a complete Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) product for RMG sector with an exemplary level of leadership. His dedication for the successful implementation of own developed ERP product for Trading Business, Service Business & Manufacturing Industries Specially e-Governance, Garments/RMG, HealthCare Industries, Education Industries, Telecommunication, and other many industries and sector of Local, International countries/Organizations is noteworthy. As a result, Pridesys IT Limited has successfully scaled with the fourth industrial revolution with the expertise and digital infrastructure to utilize artificial intelligence, big data analysis, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IOT). His dedication, patience, and leadership have made Pridesys IT Limited the next generation company in the ICT sector nationally and internationally.

Monuwar Iqbal is actively involved with the Bangladesh Government ICT policy-making, Mentor of different IT projects, and Creating job opportunities for Bangladeshi engineers.

Awards and Accolades

In the Year 2017, Pridesys IT Limited achieved its first BASIS National ICT Award in Industry Application Category. In the following years, Pridesys IT got Five National ICT Awards for Innovation and contributed to the ICT. Mr. Mounwar was awarded the prestigious Entrepreneur Award (Uddakta Award) from Bangladesh Open-Source Network (BdOSN) for his huge contribution to the IT sector in Bangladesh.

Pridesys got an international achievement which is Apicta Merit Award in 2019 for its own innovation product Pridecut (AI-Based Fabric Planning solution). Another milestone achieves after got The Daily Star ICT Awards for ICT Solution Provider of the year 2021
